Maria Oesterreich is an active member of the New York City classical and opera community. Ms. Oesterreich has worked as a resident artist with Dicapo Opera Theatre where she performed the role of Tisbe in La Cenerentola. She has appeared with several local companies in such venues as Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, The Dimenna Center, and The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.
Ms. Oesterreich greatly enjoys taking part in the choral and concert life of the city. She has worked with several local churches, and is equally at home as a chorus member or soloist.
